Cannes Lions 2016: Wearisma and Textappeal Lead the Charge

63rd Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity kicks off this week and Wearisma will be bringing their global social marketing experience to the Young Social Media Creative Academy.

As part of the Cannes Lions Creative Academy, taking place from the 18th to the 24th of June,  Jenny Tsai, Founder & CEO of Wearisma, and Elliot Polak, the Founder & CEO of Textappeal, will be jointly speaking at the Academy to the rising stars of digital marketers on the topic of “Global Social Media Shocks Around the World: Subversive Cats & Obsessed Millennials”. The session will tackle some of the most pressing, and intriguing subjects in the world of social media and media marketing.

In addition, Wearisma and Textappeal will be jointly hosting a “View from the Top” breakfast for Global Marketers at Cannes Lions 2016.

On Wednesday, June 22nd, a special talk tailored to the influential leaders and powerful voices in global marketing and media, will take place from 8.30 am to 9.30am at Cannes Lions.

Hosted in a format of a round table discussion with global marketers, which will include Cindy Gallop, internationally renowned marketer and TED Talk speaker, and Louis Myles, director from Refresh Films and the campaign director from the #WeAreTheManagers, amongst many special guests. The ‘View from the Top’ will give an in-depth insight from the top creative minds and inspirational thinkers in the industry. We will be unveiling the results from a series of pre-festival podcast interviews with top global marketers from prestigious brands such as  LVMH Fragrance, ABN/AMRO, Beneton, Lenovo, O2, Orange, World Federation of Rugby, Zurich Insurance and Wranglers, where we will discuss the topic of social marketing trends.

Dedicated to the minds of media marketing and the powerful world of creativity., expect intriguing conversations with Jenny, Elliot, Monica, Cindy, Louis and other special guests all at Cannes Lions. Stay tuned as we will be publishing the results from the talk at Cannes right here on this blog.
